Welcome
After years of living life and conducting business using my Seven Practices to Find and Follow Your Authentic Voice®, about three years ago, at the urging of clients, family and friends, I decided to start sharing this information with others. I made this decision because my authentic voice told me to, and I've learned to listen to it and follow its guidance.
Your Authentic Voice is your highest level of creativity, your inner wisdom, your intuitive brilliance. It is that part of your intelligence that knows what to do and how to do it. When we learn how to access it and follow it on a regular basis, we become happier, more fulfilled, and as a result, more successful. We also connect on a regular basis to our authentic self, and experience the extraordinary - that vibrancy and sense of aliveness that come with living a truly authentic life.
I will be sharing both the practices, and the nuances of following these practices. This is the kind of information I share as a speaker, workshop leader and coach. I trust you will find it invaluable in creating a life you treasure.

Practice One: Get Into the Present Moment to Hear Your Authentic Voice
What is the present moment?
Quiet. Peacefulness. Stillness. Contentment. Happiness. Bliss. This is what being in the present moment feels like. This is what experiencing "presence" feels like. It is the experience of "no thought," of heightened alertness. And, it is where your highest level of creativity -- your authentic voice -- can be heard.
When you quiet the noise in your head and give your full attention to this present moment, you can know the answers to your questions, the solutions to your problems, and your next best course of action. You access possibilities you might not otherwise be aware of, which immediately increases your options and your creativity. You experience the "ah ha" moment. One plus one becomes three.
How do you get into the present moment?
There are many ways. My favorite is through the breath and the senses, although there are several other ways that work as well. First, close your eyes and tune in to what's going on within you. Put your focus on your breathing. Take three full breaths, feeling them move throughout your body. Now, feel the chair you're sitting in and notice how it holds your weight. Listen to the sounds in the room. Feel the temperature of the air on your skin. Allow yourself to feel the quiet. When thoughts come up, let them pass. Relax your shoulders and let them drop. Relax your hips. Release any tension in your body. Take three more deep breaths, concentrating fully on the breath. Open your eyes and notice your surroundings, the items in the room. Spend several moments really seeing them. Feel the silence.
What you will notice is a cessation of thought, and a heightened, present-moment awareness. If you practice long enough, you will notice a feeling of wellbeing, of peacefulness, of happiness. I find you can't help but smile. This is getting into the present, and it is your point of power.
This is the first practice in finding and following your authentic voice
Do this one thing, and your experience and quality of life will improve daily because you will have access to your authentic voice, which is always guiding you to your best life.
